MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR:

SAMANTHA GIPSON

Samantha is sharing with her clients a newfound practice that resonates most closely with her current lifestyle: motherhood. Samantha’s own journey of pregnancy along with her experience of training pregnant clients over the years, she became aware of all the overwhelming and potentially misleading information out there around what workouts to do and when you should do them.

Samantha decided to film her workouts during her pregnancy and, as her little one grew, witnessed how her body positively responded to the workout series. She realized the powerful benefits of a safe, effective, and strength-building pilates routine not only during all three trimesters, but on her birth and post-labor experience as well.

Samantha optimized pilates movements to benefit the influx of body change including relative energy and belly growth to create a series of workouts for each trimester to feel more mobile, strong, grounded and even excited for what’s to come.

You can finish these workouts feeling lengthened, strengthened, and a little sore in all the right places. And more importantly, there is no doubt you will feel strong, and comfortable in the knowledge that these workouts are both optimal and safe for mom and baby.

FAQS

Can I use this program postpartum as well as prenatal?

Yes! The Prenatal Pilates Series is designed specifically for pregnancy, however, the benefits of the classes are timeless. I do suggest sticking with only the 2nd and 3rd trimester series during the first 3-4 months post-delivery (once cleared by your doctor). This will aid in diastasis-recti prevention post-birth. Return to the 1st trimester once cleared of any ab-separation 4-6 months post-birth.

What props or equipment will I need to complete the workouts in the program?

I recommend purchasing the props and equipment listed here. However, I do suggest substitutions at the beginning of each video which include typical items in your home.

On average, how long are the workouts in the series?

The workouts range from 10 - 30 minutes depending on the class. I also encourage you to incorporate a walk before or after your workouts, which adds some additional time to your workouts.

What if I have questions during the course? Will I be able to contact the instructor?
