Let’s travel the world darling…
One of the reasons I started my retreat company was because I love to travel and plan out where to eat, sights to see, & activities to do. I wanted to create a similar vibe for new friends to experience on a trip together.
I’ve been lucky enough to travel around the world with friends, family, and now retreats. I wanted to share some of my favorite places and things to do I discovered while traveling. I hope you enjoy…

Scottsdale
Things to do:
Scottsdale Wine Trail - do your own self-guided tour of 5 Winery Tasting Rooms. My favorites were LDV Winery & Carlson Creek. I didn’t make it to Aridus Wine Co, but looked really nice too. See map here.
Desert Botanical Garden - This is the best Botanical Garden I’ve ever been to. Living on the East coast, I’ve never seen plant life like this and sooo many cactuses. I highly recommend going and dedicating 1.5 - 2 hrs. Go early, gets crowded close to lunchtime.
We were in AZ the weekend before the US shutdown for COVID-19.
Sedona
Things to do:
Yoga & Hike Tour- We booked through AirBnb a hike into Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park and then a yoga class in a spiritual vortex. Our guide Patricia was funny, sweet, and very open to giving us options of what we wanted to learn about, we decided on a mix of spiritual and plant life and history of the area.
Check out Spiritual and Crystal Shops or get your aura read. I really liked Crystal Magic
Chapel of the Holy Cross - beautiful Church built into the Red Rocks.
Favorite Hikes:
Boynton Canyon- We only went to the vortex here, which is close to beginning of this trail. Be sure to take the side trail called Boynton Vista trail, and it is approximately half a mile to the vortex, located at the base of a rock spire. Views from up here include Deadman's Pass, Mescal Mountain, and Courthouse Butte off in the distance. The energy here was so calming and the view all around is breathtaking. We went at Sunset and it was a perfect time to go.
Fay Canyon- Only a 2.4 mile relatively flat trail. It takes you through the heart of the red rocks in a vibrant and magical woods area that is shaded most of the hike. Our yoga guide said she saw a fairy there : )
